Leighton Park School, located in the centre of Reading, is a co-educational boarding school. Our detailed estate masterplan considers all aspects of this large historic estate. It included an audit of existing teaching facilities and focused on best use of existing buildings alongside proposed new build to supplement when required. Consultation with key stakeholders was an integral part of the process to ensure full support of the proposals.
Our masterplan sets out a framework for development to guide the evolution of the Leighton Park School estate over the next 30 years. The projects and strategies proposed make best use of the existing estate whilst modernising facilities, through a sequential programme of demolition, refurbishment, targeted new build elements and landscaping. The cohesive architectural vision prepares the school's estate for future educational and boarding needs.
